When using local dial-ups in most Motels, you may make a new connection and in the dialup number box put in 9, and the 7or 10 digit number Check the Phone the in room for dial out procedure, or if you already have a dialup connection on your computer simply type 9, and the number in the 'XP' dial or '95/98' connect box, Mac and other operating systems work about the same.
ie;> 9,000 0000  or
ie;> 9,000 000 0000  or
ie;> 9,,000 0000
some motels require 2 comas 		 Caution Do Not use:
 1+ area code
